The work to be completed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for full depth pavement patching and surface milling and overlay improvements for Earl Court, Lester Avenue, Rebecca Street, Cheryl Court, N Cameron Lane, N Elmore Street, Walden Street, Ellington Cove, Highgate Street, Creamoor Lane, Wellesly Court, Silverthorn Street, Amberleigh Court, and Railroad Avenue. Walden Street will require full depth reclamation.

Construction Schedule: The OWNER intends to issue the Notice of Award within 30 days of the bid opening, and the Notice to Proceed on or about November 1, 2024. The allowable construction schedule for the project is 75 calendar days.

Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders.

No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law (South Carolina Code of Laws as amended on April 1, 1999, Chapter 11, Sections 40‑11‑10 through 40‑11‑428). All bidders must be properly bonded and insured, with proof provided upon request.  Contractors shall have a classification of AP.

No bidder may withdraw the bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof.
